Dog In The DunesWhen author and artist Barbara E. Cohen received a two-week artist's residency to paint in a dune shack on Cape Cod's National Seashore, she intended to continue her work on a series of abstract paintings. Instead, Cohen found new inspiration in theantics or her 11 year old black Labrador retriever, Cabe. Cohen was compelled to photograph and paint Gabe as he followed her every step, creating this captivating series of mixed-media portraits.
